FAQ

How do I book my wedding?

We can do a phone consultation, but I prefer to meet up in person either at my studio or at the venue to chat about the details of your wedding. I think it's important for us to get to know one another a little so I can capture your big day without missing a single detail. After we are chatting if I am a perfect fit we will schedule and book your day.

What form of payment do you accept?

I would love to get paid in smiles and hugs, but to be real I need to take care of my family. I accept all forms of cash, local checks, PayPal and I take all major credit cards.

When is my payment due?

A deposit of 50% is due at the time of your booking to hold your day and time. Your remaining payment is due at your reveal and ordering session. All print orders payments are due at the time you order.

Can we get a customized wedding collection?

Absolutely! We can modify one of my existing wedding collections or start from scratch to create one that fits just what you need.

How soon after our session will our images be available?

I may text you my favorites during the editing process, but sneak peeks on social media is not something I do. Your gallery will be available 3 weeks after your wedding. You will then be able to view your images at the reveal and select your favorites to fill any print orders that come with your wedding collection.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor wedding?

In the event of rain during your wedding we will utilize and indoor area or a roof overhang. We can also embrace the weather in true Pacific Northwest style and capture you guys dancing in the rain. Happily ever afters can't be ruined by the rain.

Should I make a shot list?

Yes, I greatly appreciate list! I mainly need a list of names of the people you want to make sure I capture on your day. I am master at hunting down Auntie Martha and getting her in the shot.

How long will you be there?

That's all up to you. I can come for just the important parts or I can be there right at set up and stay until the dance floor is broken down and put away. It's really all about what you want to have captured.

Should we have a wedding coordinator?

I love working with wedding coordinators. They are great time savers and amazing people organizers. If you do plan of having a day of wedding coordinator please make sure I get their contact information so we can chat and make sure your day goes as smooth as possible. If you need a wedding coordinator, I know a few really good ones, just ask!
