The average investment for custom artwork ranges from $500-$1,800, depending on your preferences and needs. Working with me in four easy steps!
All of my family sessions follow a simple four step process. I am here to help guide you through the whole process to ensure you get beautifully captured memories that you can proudly display in your home for years to come.
Step One.
The consultation. I always do a quick consultation with my clients. During the consultations we talk about what you want your portraits to capture. We also discuss what you would like to do with your images after the session. We will talk about the different types of wall art I offer. I will show you the memory boxes and custom albums. Together we will figure out what works best for your family and home.
We can also streamline the process by combining your consultation and in-home design meeting for your upcoming portrait session.
Step Two.
Design is key! After your consultation, we'll schedule an in-home meeting to discuss wall space, collections, and materials that match your decor. We'll also choose session locations that complement your home's style. This helps me capture the perfect shots to fit your vision, like a canvas above your fireplace.
Step Three.
It's showtime! Get ready for a fun and playful portrait session with me. I love to capture movement and emotions, like kids jumping and dad's jokes. Let me guide you and your family to create timeless memories that you'll cherish forever. Just relax and leave the rest to me!
Once your photos are ready, I'll create a personalized online portrait gallery for you, complete with a slideshow for our reveal and ordering appointment. Get ready to see your beautiful memories and choose your favorite prints and products!
Step Four.
At the reveal and ordering session, we'll go through your family portraits and select your favorites. Then, using the ideas we came up with during our in-home design meeting, we'll create wall collections, mock-ups, and designs to fit your home's style. I'm an expert in designing beautiful collections of mounted prints, framed wall art, canvases, metal prints, memory boxes, and portrait albums. You can also choose high-resolution digital image collections, along with all the printed products. You only purchase what you love, and the amount you invest is up to you. Most families invest between $500 and $2000 for their favorite artwork to display in their homes. Let's create something beautiful together!
Okay, there's a secret last step!
Once your artwork has been ordered and delivered to my studio, I will conduct a quality check, carefully wrap it, and personally deliver it to your doorstep. If you have a wall art collection, I will even hang it up for you and ensure that it looks stunning in your home! With my 100% "love it" guarantee, you can trust that I won't stop until you love what you see and the products are absolutely perfect.
Family Portrait Session Fee: 250
This fee includes my time to plan and photograph your session; it does not include any high-resolution digital images. All sessions come with a custom online gallery and options to purchase high-resolution digital images and prints. Session fees are due at the time of booking.

How do I book a photography session?
A.To get started, please contact me to schedule a consultation. During our consultation, we'll discuss the details of your session and determine the best date and location for your shoot.
Once we've agreed on the specifics, I will send you a contract that outlines the details of your session, along with a payment request of either the 250 session fee or 50% deposit of collection to secure your date. The remaining balance will be due on the day of your session.

When is payment due?
A.The session fee of 250 is due at the time of your booking.
All session fees are complimentary with a purchase of a portrait collection. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, the remaining balance will be due during your reveal and ordering session.
Any print order payments are due at the time of your order.
What form of payments do you accept?
A.I accept cash, local checks, PayPal and all major credit cards. (Sales Tax will apply to all payments)
How soon after our session will our portraits be avalible?
A.After your photography session, I will begin the editing process to ensure that your images are polished and stunning. While I may send you a few sample shots during the editing process, please note that I do not regularly post sneak peeks on social media.
My priority is to provide you with a personalized and professional experience that meets your specific needs and preferences. I believe that the final product should speak for itself and I'm committed to delivering high-quality images that capture your unique style and personality.
Your edited images will be available for viewing and download 2-3 weeks after your session. You'll receive a password-protected online gallery where you can view your images, share them with loved ones, and select your favorites for printing or digital download.

What happens if it rains on the day of my outdoor session?
A.We all know that the weather can be unpredictable, especially here in the Pacific Northwest. In the event of rain during your scheduled outdoor session, we have a few options. We can either relocate to an indoor area, such as my studio, or we can stay and play in the rain, or can reschedule for a different date that works for both of us.
It's always a good idea to have a backup plan and space in case of inclement weather, so you can feel confident that we'll still be able to capture beautiful photos regardless of what Mother Nature throws our way.

A.I've scouted out a variety of locations that I absolutely love for portrait sessions. When it comes to family and children portraits, you have a lot of options to choose from, including my studio, urban locations, rural spots, your own home, and anything in between.

How long does a typical photography session last?
A.Most of my sessions typically run between 1-2 hours, allowing us plenty of time to capture a range of images and create a comfortable, enjoyable experience. However, I also offer mini sessions throughout the year, which are shorter in duration, typically lasting between 30-45 minutes. These sessions are perfect for clients who want a quick, efficient shoot and a smaller selection of images. Whatever your needs may be, I'm happy to work with you to create a photography session that suits your unique vision and preferences.
